About Us
The Takoma Park Singers is a community chorus whose members who live in and around Takoma Park, Maryland and share in the love of music. We began in the late 1960's and have been directed by Carole Whittam since 1981. We enjoy preparing for concerts and giving performances throughout the Washington DC area. From September to May, we rehearse on Wednesday evenings near downtown Silver Spring. Public performances include a Winter Holiday Concert each December and a Spring Concert each May. We hope you will join us at a future performance!
